We are a full service heavy construction equipment dealer serving Kansas, western Missouri, northwest Arkansas, and northeast Oklahoma. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Service Manager position at our Garden City and Topeka locations. These positions are responsible for all aspects of managing the Garden City and Topeka service operations.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial profitability of the Service Dept.
• Supervise full time technicians and ensure that they have the parts to complete the task.
• Prepare written quotations for service repairs to customers and keep in frequent contact with them while their units are being repaired.
• Represent the company in a clear, honest and ethical manner
• Process shop work orders
• Work with manufactures to negotiate warranty adjustments for equipment that is out of warranty.
• Work cooperatively with the Parts Department staff in order to secure parts needs
• Build relationships with external customers so that the company becomes the go-to source for customers’ service needs.
• Call on higher profile customers at their location in order to drive business.
• Create positive customer experiences to achieve continued sales growth in the Service Department.

Outside Sales Representative:

Central Kansas, Joplin, Missouri, Springfield, Missouri & Northern Arkansas

This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships resulting in heavy equipment sales and rentals in and around Central Kansas, Joplin, Springfield and Northern Arkansas. This is a commissioned sales position with a six figure income potential. The successful candidate must be a self starter with the drive, motivation, and entrepreneurial spirit to succeed. A background in construction equipment sales, agricultural equipment sales, or other large capital equipment is a plus, but not required. A strong mechanical aptitude combined with exceptional interpersonal skills will help in overcoming a lack of industry sales knowledge. Mechanic/Service Technician- KC, Wichita, and Springfield (1 each) Also looking for a Resident Field Sevice Technician based out of Central Missouri.

Performs various duties to support the Service Department and the company, including (but not limited to):

• Repair or maintain customer or VLP equipment as assigned.

• Diagnose repairs; research as needed using service manuals or other sources.
• Complete repairs / maintenance.
• Provides assistance to coworkers as needed.

• Complete proper paperwork.
• Document repairs on work orders, including warranty paperwork.
• Time in and out of work orders appropriately.
• Work with other departments and supervisor to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Order and obtain parts from the parts department.
• Communicate with supervisor about customer problems and resolutions.
• Maintain clean work area and shop.
• Dispose safely and properly of waste
• Maintain neat and orderly toolbox, both personal and the companies.
• Other Duties as assigned.
• Duties may include the safe operation of a motor vehicle to and from customer work sites.
• Duties may include minor building maintenance.
