About The Victor L. Phillips Company

Back in 1911, when Victor L. Phillips founded the company that still bears his name, he handled three product lines. Of the three, one was a horse-drawn, tip-over concrete cart; another was an asphalt kettle, designed by Phillips himself and built by a blacksmith. But, the fledgling company had assets beyond equipment– like a spirit of innovation, a dedication to integrity in all its dealings, and a steadfast commitment to service... to doing whatever it took to meet each customer's needs.

VLP's Owner Jim Foreman "If I could attribute the success of The Victor L. Phillips Co. to one thing, it would be our people.  I take a great deal of pride in this team we call VLP. Our members believe in the company and its products, and they are committed to its success.  I am convinced you won't find a group of people anywhere who are friendlier, harder working or more capable.

As the years passed, the world changed and The Victor L. Phillips Company changed too: responding to its customers' new needs, helping them meet new challenges and embrace new opportunities; developing new capabilities and mastering evolving technologies.

But one thing has never changed: a solid commitment to full service– and complete customer satisfaction. Over the years, that commitment has become our tradition. It all comes down to integrity: to saying what we can and will do– and doing what we say– without excuses, qualifications, or hidden clauses: not only because it's what our customers expect, but because it's what we expect from ourselves

Today, The Victor L. Phillips Co is headed up by James W. Foreman, who has owned VLP since 1978. In 2000, the company’s senior management was reorganized and Jim moved to Chairman and Butch Teppe assumed the position of President. The company continues to flourish and grow.".
